DGBC appoints ArchitectenConsort BREEAM-experts

On February 5 th Peter Couwenbergh (director) and Edgar Bosman (senior architect) have been appointed as BREEAM-experts by the DGBC. The importance of sustainable architecture has been studied by and underscored for years by ArchitectenConsort. The complete integration of sustainable measures has to be implemented in the design process at an early stage. Among others a BREEAM-expert bears responsibility for this process. The DGBC uses the British method of BREEAM to assess the level of sustainability structures and areas within Holland. The employed method makes the sustainability of the building process measurable, whereas the issued sustainable certificate makes this process transparent.
