Wave shaped high-rise in Gangnam district ready for operation

In Seoul the construction of the high-rise building GT Tower has been completed.  The wave-shaped façades of GT Tower clearly contrast to the architecture in the Gangnam business district. This was exactly the objective of initiator Mister Kim. AC has taken responsibility for the exterior and interior design of 130 meters high building with its distinguishing slanted glass façades. The end result for GT Tower consists of modern offices and large commercial and cultural functionalities. The basic strategy and design have strong focus on sustainability. A universal building structure offers the possibility of adapting the function of the building in the future. Thermal performance of the glass façade is excellent and it allows natural daylight to penetrate deep into the building. GT Tower uses solar cells to produce electricity.
